French 19th century Louis XIV style ormolu garniture suite, comprising a clock and a pair of ten-light candelabra: the clock with domed top, the enamel dial signed Raingo Frers/Paris, the twin-train movement with countwheel strike on a bell, on four scrolled supports terminating with winged sphinx monopodia, the front and back with pierced foliate decoration centered by a mask, on a shaped rectangular foliate-cast base and toupie feet; the candelabra conforming, each with ten scrolled branches. A Very Fine French Napoleon III Figural Gilt-Bronze Clock and Candelabra Garniture Set, Circa: 1870. Comprising a clock and two candelabra, the clock with white enamel dial signed: BALTHAZARD A PARIS, the case of ovoid form surmounted by a vine leaf and grape finial, flanked by the muses of astronomy and literature on a shaped leaf-cast base, the movement with outside count wheel striking on a bell; the candelabra each with six branches cast in the form of lilies and roses upheld in a cornucopia by two scantily clad maidens on a cylindrical base.
