A Museum Quality Louis XVI style ormolu-mounted amaranth, tulipwood, sycamore and parquetry pedestal "Régulateur de Parquet" clock and After the model attributed to Jean-Henri Riesener, surmounted by a cloud-form case cast with three putti suspending garlands, centred by a white enamel dial with Roman numerals, on a spreading socle with ribbon-hung garlands, above the square tapering pedestal headed by a laurel wreath beneath an Apollo mask, above scrolling foliage centred by a flower-filled urn, the sides with lozenge parquetry panels, on four paw-cast feet above a shaped plinth centred by a foliate wreath, on toupie feet. The finely chased ormolu on this clock is of the best quality ever offered by us. The ormolu is stamped "M". The clock with a two train movement with hourly bell chime, also with pendulum and two weights. Circa: 1885. Ref.: A1683

A Very Fine French 19th/20th Century Regence Style Gilt-Bronze Mounted Parquetry Regulator, after the 18th century model by Julien Le Roy (French, 1686-1759) and Charles Cressent (French, 1685-1768). The asymmetrical cartouche-form bonnet surmounted by a gilt bronze allegorical figure of Father Time holding a scythe, the gilt-bronze dial with enameled Roman numerals, the parquetry inlaid case displaying zephyr masks, the heart-shaped pendulum reveal upon a bronze-mounted and parquetry paneled pedestal, the paw feet resting on a serpentine plinth. A Very Fine French 19th Century Louis XV Style Plum-Mahogany and Ormolu Mounted Tall-Case Regulator by Revollon Frers. The Roman numeral dial signed Revollon - M. Lion, with hands ending in the shape of a sunburst, the tall and slender case decorated with floral wreaths and centered with an allegorical figure of a maiden playing the tambourine above a decorative mount of an urn.
