A Very Fine French Enameled and Beaded Rectangular Porcelaian Plaque, Late 19th century, signed E. PAGÈS. Finely painted after A. Guès with a full-length portrait of a Renaissance beauty holding a fan, her plumed hat and 'bejeweled' dress enriched with polychrome patterned foil applied with micro-beads in imitation of textile, on a chequered floor, the gilt surround patterned as a trellis of rosettes, the frame name plate inscribed 'enamel by Delforge after A. Guès'. Framed.
