Important French 19th Century Ormolu-Mounted Kingwood Vitrine by Paul Sormani, Paris, with a central glazed panel door, flanked to each side by a shaped glazed panel and with three shelves. Circa 1890. Note: The lock-plate engraved: P Sormani, 10 r. Charlot, Paris. Notes: The firm established in Paris in 1847 by Paul Sormani exhibited consistently at International shows during the second half of the 19th century. In 1867, the firm re-located to 10, rue Charlot.
