Born in Paris in 1881, Roger-Emmanuel Guibourgé studied sculpture at the Ecole des Beaux-Arts under Louis-Ernest Barrias and Jules-Félix Coutan. He was a regular exhibitor at the Paris Salon, where, as its inscription indicates.
